We have openings for Pre School Head & Pre School Teachers for our Birla Open Minds Pre School at Mohali.
Experience: 2-3 Years
Job Description - Pre School Head:
1)Responsible for the admissions at the centre.
2)ACADEMICS
Ensure that the teachers go through the plans and are prepared for the class.
Ensure missing items are replaced and damaged equipment is repaired.
Send regular feedback at the end of a theme to the Central Office
Any queries & clarification in terms of implementation of given plan, to be consulted with the academic team
Should be well aware of the academic progress and emotional and physical well-being of each student with the teachers
Conduct fortnightly Curriculum workshops
3) SPECIAL EVENTS
Plan/Organize /Coordinate all the events such as Parent Orientation, PTM, Field Trips, Sports Day, Annual Concert, celebration days as per the guidelines
Delegate duties to the Teaching and Non Teaching staff for all the events
Inform all the concerned departments about all events at least a week in advance
Circulars to be sent in advance for the events
4) POLICY MATTERS
To be aware of and adhere to all policies of the School affecting Teachers and students
Be in School at a reasonable time prior to the beginning of the session and after school is over
5) TEACHER DEVELOPMENT
Provide clarity on the job functions of a Lead teacher, Class Teacher, Co-Teacher.
Conduct Induction for Teachers joining at the beginning of the Academic Year as well as for mid term joinees on the functioning, school policies.
Conduct class observation of Teachers on a regular basis.
JD - Pre Primary Teacher/ KG Teacher
Teaches, plans and executes the required curriculum
Assists in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement
Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.
Implements instructional activities that contribute to active student participation
Maintains effective and efficient records/documents
Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
