Welcome to Birla Open Minds International School. It is a pleasure and privilege
to be the founder Director of the school. My experience so far is that I will be
working with a supportive enthusiastic community eager to assist in setting up a
school of excellence where children can be very best, they can. I am also proud
to announce that we are progressive school offering a world class integrated
curriculum picking the best of all to prepare our students for the 21st century.
The prospectus is written to provide our parents and students with basic
information on how we intend our school to operate. Every effort has been made
to assemble a strong diverse team of teachers and support staff to give our
school the strength and unique flavour that will distinguish it as a school of
choice in the area. Our aim is to assist all students to achieve their
potential. As well as focussing on defined knowledge and skills objectives, we
will strive to develop attitudes and values which best equip our children for
life and for active and productive participation in society.
To achieve these aims, we maintain a safe and open environment where clear and
frequent communication with you, the primary educators, is essential. To do this
we have an open-door policy which means that following the usual protocols of
making appointment, we are always available to discuss issues and matters which
may impact on your child’s overall performance. A school’s success relies
heavily on the support of parents who constitute a P&C Association and a School
Board. Both these organisations aim to gain your support and opinions on we are
functioning. Please do make every effort to be part of these vital organs of
governance.
I welcome you and your children to be part of our unique community and invite
you to be involved in the many activities that owe their success to you
volunteering your services in support role. My endeavour would always be to
impart education for life to each BOMISIAN which can assist him/her to excel in
all walks of life and which makes him/her distinct and easily the best choice to
lead.

Birla Open Minds International School, Shaheed Path, Lucknow is oriented to the
total formation of a child and to adaptations of various methods using the
dynamics of changing world in order to achieve common goals and objectives. At
BOMIS each individual child is an asset.
We offer a well-designed integrated curriculum aligned to NEP’s mandate of
promoting experiential learning which is an amalgamation of CBSE, ICSE and IGCSE
Boards for Grades 1-7. From Grade 8 onwards, the teaching learning process and
assessment pattern is carried out as per CBSE guidelines.
We have a trained team of well qualified, dedicated, dynamic, caring and
affectionate educators who have the sole aim to provide the students with the

The School infrastructure is adorably taken care of to create a favourable
environment for students’ holistic development. Right from spacious and
well-ventilated classrooms to “Giggles”-the Activity Room and outdoor play area
for our tiny toddlers, curated Integrated lab to glow the spark of learning by
doing for the formative years of our Primary level learners, fully equipped and
well-designed Science Labs for the Secondary students, well equipped library and
ICT lab, Shooting range, Basketball court and a Mini Soccer field.
The parents are an integral part of the school community. Without their active
and whole-hearted support not much can be gained. At BOMIS we constantly keep in
touch with the parents so that the progress of the children can be effectively
monitored.
